The Journal of Global and Area Studies is a peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to connecting insight and perspectives across intellectual disciplines. In the field of international and area studies. The journal is published twice a year, in both printed and online versions.
As to the topic purposefully broad in scope, we encourage researchers from diverse areas to prepare a manuscript out of the following subtopics:

 - Global and Area Studies
 - Globalization and Glocalization
 - International Development Cooperation
 - Cooperation and Conflicts on a Specific Region
 - Migration and Tourism
 - Cultural Diversity and Sustainability
 - Marine Humanities


Submission Instructions

We invite submissions from a diverse set of disciplines in keeping with the journal’s interdisciplinary approach to scholarship. Guidelines of how to submit manuscripts including styles and reference formats can be found on the journal’s website (https://iga.pknu.ac.kr:446/e-submission/html/main/main.php). The author needs to join the website first and submit the manuscript. All submissions will undergo double-blind peer-review, and must be revised according to feedback from the reviewers. It is expected that the issue will be published on 30 June and 31 December, 2020. Additionally, one copy of the issue and 10 offprints will be sent to the author free of charge.
